Specific embedded emissions
Embedded emissions expressed per tonne of product (t CO₂e / t). The headline figure for a CBAM declaration line.
Specific embedded emissions = installation-level embedded emissions allocated to a product, divided by product tonnes. Reported per 8-digit CN code per supplier per year. Compared against the EU default + mark-up to show the estimated cost difference.
