Actual emissions
Emissions measured or calculated from the installation's own operating data, as opposed to default values set by the Commission.
Actual emissions reflect the specific installation that made the goods. They can only be used in a CBAM declaration after an accredited verifier has issued a positive opinion. Without verified actuals, the importer reports with default values plus the yearly mark-up.
